Pond Armor Pond-Shield Non-Toxic Epoxy Pond Liner can be used as a stand-alone, fish-safe paint product on most surface without applying primers or sealers before hand. If you are trying to fill in small pitted holes or even out rough surfaces like brick or concreate before applying paint, Pond Shield Epoxy Primer can be applied prior to using the colored Non-Toxic Epoxy Pond Liner. This fish pond paint can be easily applied to most surfaces including concrete, shotcrete, gunnite, cement, wood, steel, aluminum, tile, stone, and rock.
Pond-Shield is a flexible epoxy that combines superior elongation with sheer tensile strength. The tensile bond strength of the garden pond liners even exceeds the internal strength of concrete. Simply mix both parts together and apply with a squeegee and roller. Pond Armor Pond-Shield cures to touch within a few hours and is completely fish, plant, and hydroponics safe. Also available in: 1.5 Gallons and 3 Gallons.
*Coverage of 60 square feet when applied at 10 mils per 1.5 quart kit. Uneven and Rough surfaces will cause a decrease in the coverage area.

When to Use
The coating is a non-toxic two-part epoxy used to waterproof solid constructed water features made of things like:
Concrete, Cement, Stucco, Steel, Brass, Aluminum, Copper, Wood, Block, Brick, Stone, Fiberglass, and Most Plastics.
How to Use
Be sure to read through all instructions prior to application.
Prepare Surface. Follow included instructions for the surface you intend to cover with Pond Shield.
Mix Product & Apply. Only mix enough product that you can use within 30 minutes.
Inspect & Touch Up. After an application has been completed, inspect the surface area. Touch up areas as needed.
Precautions
Avoid prolonged contact with skin or breathing of mist.
Use only with adequate ventilation.
This product is safe for hydroponics, fish hatcheries, pond fish, and plants as long as it is applied and cured out properly.
FAQs Answered
It does need to be mixed, but exact recipes are given within the instructions for this purpose.
It can be thinned but only with 90° or higher isopropyl rubbing alcohol, denatured alcohol, 180 Vodka or 180 Everclear.
It can be used without alcohol as well. Thinning it with alcohol makes it a little easier to roll and brush.
It cannot be used on a flexible rubber or plastic liner.
